According to the origin of Shanghai parks and the course of formation of Shanghai Style Characteristics of Modem Parks, Shanghai Style Characteristics of Modem Parks were analyzed： design styles diversification, function settings diversification, rich in political color; having the characteristics of following the fashion and innovation, multivariate containment, absorption and sublation, inheritance and development. The future development of Shanghai modem parks was prospected.
