对我国工业设计教育现状及存在的问题、工业设计教育与企业人才需求脱节的原因及滨海新区制造企业工业设计需求状况进行了剖析，探讨了基于区域优势的工业设计教育特色发展模式。以市场需求为导向，改革教学方法，构建科学合理的课程体系，增加企业实践性环节及系统化设计训练，增加基于天津滨海新区需求的专题设计课，整合校企资源优势，建立以高校为主导的工业设计服务平台，发展工业设计专业特色方向，定向培养专业人才，依托于滨海，服务于滨海。

The paper analyzes the current status of industrial design education and its problems, the reasons for the separa- tion of the industrial design education and talents demands of enterprises, and the condition of design demands in manufac- turing industry of Binhai New Area. The distinctive development model of industrial design education based on regional ad- vantages is proposed further. Guided by the market demand, the model focuses on the reform of teaching methods and the construction of scientific and rational curriculum system with increasing practical aspects of business and systematic design trainings as well as more topic design courses based on the demand of Binhai New Area. It aims to integrate school-enter- prise resources, establish university-led industrial design service platform, and develop the distinctive pattern for industrial design specialty and the orientation training of professionals. It not only relies on but also serves the development of Binhai New Area.
