比较诗学研究在当下已然成为中国汉语比较文学研究领域中的主流方向。一位比较诗学研究者把西方诠释学及其相关理论的学术背景作为思考的视域,从而达向对中国儒家诗学的研究,实际上,这是给出了汇通于中西诗学且又不同于两者的第三种诗学立场。刘歆早在《三统历》中即厘定了“经,元,一以统始”的本体论观念,较之于老庄诗学的“道”,“经”是儒家诗学得以安身立命的隐性本体论范畴。儒家知识分子正是据守于“经”的信仰,从而获取圣人之道的意义和价值的确认。1934年,鲁迅撰写《儒术》嘲讽元好问与张德辉恭请元世祖忽必烈为“儒教大宗师”;而在21世纪,儒教却以普世主义的信仰走向了全球化。较之于真正的儒者,那些“以经议政”的公羊学家,当代中国学术界最大的遗憾就是介入性公共知识分子的缺席。

Comparative poetics studies has currently become the mainstream of comparative literature studies in China and Chinese context. The comparative poetics scholars, employing the perspectives of Western hermeneutics and related theories as their academic references to study Chinese Confucian poetics, are in fact standing in the position of the third kind of poetics which integrates Chinese and Western poetics and makes something new. As Liu Xin (ca. 50 B. C. -23 A. D. )'s earlier defining of "Jing" in the Triple Concordance Calendar(Santong Li), "Jing is the First and the One which governs the beginning," that is, an ontological notion. Compared with "Tao" in the poetics of Laozi and Zhuangzi, "Jing" is a hidden ontological category which serves as the root of Confucian poetics. Therefore, it is only through the belief in "Jing" that Confucian intellectuals can confirm the significance and value of the Way of the Sage. In the essay entitled "Confucianism" (Ru Shu) in 1934, Lu Xun (1881-1936) satirized Yuan Haowen and Zhang Dehui (1195-1275) who honored Borjigin Kublai (1215--1294), the Grand Progenitor of the Yuan Dynasty as "Grand Confucian Master. " However, in the 21st century, Confucianism has gone global as a universal belief. Compared to the real Confucians, the Gong Yang scholars who employed the Confucian classics to discuss politics, the greatest regret of the contemporary Chinese academia is the lack of interventional public intellectuals.
