由于长期“留守”,缺乏父母关爱和科学教育,留守儿童在身心发展、价值观念、行为方式、教育等方面出现较为严重的问题。留守儿童群体能否健康成长、能否顺利融入主流社会以及适应未来社会发展等,不仅关系到数万留守儿童的前途和命运,而且事关我国未来人口素质的提高,关系到城市化和现代化建设的进程,关系到和谐社会的构建以及未来社会的稳定与发展。而大力发展城镇化建设、规范城市化进程是最终解决农村留守儿童社会化问题的主要对策。

Due to long-term "left-behind", being lack of parental care and scientific education, the left-behind children have more serious problems in physical and mental development, values, behavior, education and other aspects. If left-behind children can grow up healthily, integrate into the society and adapt to the development of the society successfully or not, not only concerns the future and destiny of tens of thousands of left-behind children, but also is related to improving the quality of future population in China, matters to the process of urbanization and modemization, relates to construction of a harmonious society and the future of social stability and development. Rapid development of urbanization and regulating the process of urbanization are main countermeasures to solve the socialized problems of rural left-behind children ultimately.
