词典使用技能是指词典使用者通过习得而具备的有效检索和充分利用词典信息的各项技能,对使用技能的研究是词典使用者研究的重要课题。本文从词典使用者的词典定位、信息定位、信息阅读以及信息的提取与运用等几方面对留学生双语词典使用技能进行了调查,对存在的问题进行了分析并提出了解决策略。

The skills of using dictionary refer to users＇ ability to search for words effectively and to make a full use of dictionary information through learning. The study on skills of using dictionary is an important subject in the study of dictionary users. This paper makes an investigation into the use of bilingual dictionaries by foreign students in terms of users＇ choice of dictionary, as well as selecting, reading, extraction and application of information. It also analyzes problems in dictionary use and puts forward some measures to solve the problems.
