在人本主义理论和建构主义理论基础上,本文提出了“以人为本”的建构主义教学模式,并与传统教学模式对比,进行了实证研究。结果表明,实验班与控制班的听、读、写成绩差别不明显,而口语能力却有着显著性差异(P=0.000),这表明两种教学模式都能起到使学生掌握听、读、写基本技能的作用,而“以人为本”的建构主义教学模式在提高学生的口语能力方面效果显著。问卷调查的结果表明更多的学生(78%)喜欢“以人为本”的建构主义教学模式。

Based on theories of Humanism and Constructivism, the article proposes People Oriented Constructivism Teaching Model. The contrastive teaching experiments on classes guided by People Oriented Constructivism Teaching Model and classes guided by traditional teaching model, demonstrate that there are no remarkable differences in listening, reading, and writing between two kinds of classes. Nevertheless, there are remarkable differences in students' oral English ability between two kinds of classes ( p = 0.000). The experiments illustrate that the two teaching models can both enhance students' listening, reading, and writing abilities, but People Oriented Constructivism Teaching Model can significantly improve students' oral English. The results of questionnaire demonstrates that more students (78%) prefer People Oriented Constructivism Teaching Model.
