金朝对奚族的政策存在一个由亲近到疏远的变化过程。前期以信任和重用为主,使奚族摆脱了辽代的政治枷锁,得以涌现出众多政治、军事人才。而在中后期则主要体现为歧视和排斥,使奚族逐渐走向默默无闻。

The policy towards the Xi nationality （奚族） of Jin Dynasty went through a process which changed from intimacy to alienation.In early Jin Dynasty,the Xi people got the trust from the rulers and held some important positions,and also got rid of the political chains of Liao Dynasty.Many political and military talents of Xi origin emerged.However,in the middle and late Jin Dynasty,the Xi people were discriminated and gradually became unknown.
