简要回顾了改革开放以来广州周边地区乡村城镇化的历程，总结了该地区乡村发展存在的问题与特征。认为在城市规模不断扩大与城乡统筹发展的背景下，传统乡村面临着空间不断消亡、地域认同感消失、自主性不足、高风险等一系列危机。对此，城乡规划应当树立“城乡价值平等”的理念，划定永久性乡村发展区；以“中心城市一新市镇一特色乡村”的城乡体系层次引导乡村空间的保护式发展，以“乡村生态绿道”建设为契机，实现乡村生态空间整合，优化城乡公交网和乡村公共设施的配置，从而促进农村的发展。

This article briefly looks back to the urbanization of the outskirts of Guangzhou since the reform and opening -up, and probes into the existing problems and characteristics of the development of these regions. It points out that in the context of continuous expansion of cities and a policy of promoting coordinated development of both urban and rural areas, this arti- cle studies a series of crises experienced by China＇ s traditional rural areas, such as the erosion of space by cities, a diminishing sense of identity, lack of autonomy, and higher risks. To cope with these problems, urban planning should start valuing urban and rural areas equally, and establish some ＂village reserves. ＇,＇ It＇ s also suggested that a three - layered structure constituted by downtown areas, newly urbanized areas and reserved rural areas should be applied as a guideline for the protective development of rural areas. Moreover, this article also suggests that ＂ rural area green way＂ should be used as a start point to realize the coordination of rural ecology and optimize urban and rural transport network and other public services so as to promote the rural development.
