由于职业与专业的分工都源于工作实践，因而工作实践赋予职业教育与专业学位教育共同的逻辑，对职业教育与专业学位教育的目标、内容、教学活动和评价方式都具有规定性，即两者都是为了培养能适应某一职业或职业群的同一类型不同层次的人才，都具有职业性、应用性和实践性的特征。这就决定了我国职业教育与专业学位教育在培养的人才类型、人才培养模式、师资队伍结构、职业定向性、职业资格衔接等方面具有同质性。这种同质性使我国职业教育与专业学位教育的有效衔接和构建完整的职业教育层次结构成为可能，并有利于职业教育发挥终身教育的作用。

A complete system of vocational education needs the connection between the different levels of vocational education. Vocational education and professional degree education which share the same logic from the work are important parts in our national education system. They originate from the working places, the working places designate their objectives, contents, activities and evaluation. Since they have some identities such as talent type, cultivation model, teachers, occupation orientation and occupation certification, it is possible to set up an independent system of vocational education, including vocational education, technical education and professional degree education, which will facilitate the development of the life-long education in vocational training.
