The Incoterms rules are a series of pre-defined trade terms published by the International Chamber of Commerce （ICC） widely used in international commercial transactions. The paper aims to explore major obligations of the seller and the buyer in the contract of international sale of goods under Incoterms2010 and to analyzes the amendments of the rules so as to provide a more comprehensive understanding of Incoterms2010 and connotation of trade terms as defined therein.
