与艺术相关的技术可分为表达技术和传播技术，表达技术只影响艺术创作的特色，而传播技术则影响整个艺术生产的内在结构和总体方式。艺术史上三次艺术生产方式的变革都主要是由传播技术的进步引发的。艺术生产的产业化空前地提升了艺术生产力，但也导致了艺术不断物化的趋势。人的能动性除了体现为技术理性外，还体现为更高的反思理性，人有能力也有责任遏制艺术的物化趋势。这需要反对近代以来的各种技术决定论，需要发挥艺术家的先导作用，需要在理论上重申艺术的创造特质和人文根基。

Technologies related to art consist of representation technology and communication technology. The former impacts the characteristics of artistic creation and the latter, internal structure and overall pattern of art production. The three revolutions of production in art history are all triggered by the development of communication technology. The industrialized art production has unprecedentedly increased the productivity of art creation on the one hand and resulted in the constant materialization of art on the other hand. Human superiority is embodied in reflective rationality in a higher hierarchy on tope of technological rationality. Therefore, it is a human responsibility and capability to control the tendency of art materialization. Such a mission requires us to fight against any form of technology determinism while advocating artists＇ pioneering role and reiterating artistic creativity and humanistic foundation in theory.
