高校学生权力是建基于特定的权力资源，对特定客体施加影响，以实现特定预期的一种主体能力。其合法性来源于学生的主体地位及高校内部民主管理与学生利益维护的需要。虽然学生权力应当是高校内部权力结构中一种重要的主体权力，但与其他主体权力相比，学生权力是一种弱权力。学生权力现象在我国高校组织中是客观存在的，并有上扬的趋势，但同时也面临诸多困境。针对现实困境，保障学生权力合法存在与有效运行的应然路径是：在确定学生权力合法边界的前提下，树立正确的学生权力观，构建完善的法律制度保障体系，创建适切的学生权力运行平台。

Students＇ power is the subjective ability which is based on the specific re- sources, and affects objects to implement students＇ benefits. Its legitimacy comes from students＇ subjective position, the needs of democratic management and safeguarding students＇ benefits. Although students＇ power should be an important subjective power in the inner power structure of university, students＇ power is a kind of weak power compared with other subiective powers. Students＇ power is a real existence in Chinese universities, which has the trend of rising. At the same time, students＇ power faces many dilemmas. For these dilemmas, confirming the legitimate boundary of students＇ power, setting up the cor- rect view of students＇ power, constructing the perfect legal system, and creating the effec- tive implementation platform of students＇ power, are the way to guarantee the legal exist- ence of students＇ power and effective operation.
