采用问卷法调查了1139名初中生,运用结构方程模型探讨了学业自我效能在成就目标定向与学习倦怠关系中的中介效应。结果发现:(1)学习目标定向和成绩接近定向与学习倦怠具有负向联系,而成绩回避定向与学习倦怠具有正向的关联;(2)学业自我效能在成就目标定向与学习倦怠的关系中起着一定的中介作用;在学习目标定向与学习倦怠、成绩接近定向与学习倦怠的关系中,学业自我效能起完全中介作用;而在成绩回避定向与学习倦怠的关系中,学业自我效能起部分中介作用。

Goal orientation is emerging as a useful construct for understanding how people develop, attain or demonstrate competence in learning and performance. It is generally accepted that goal orientation comprises three factors - learning, performance approach, and performance avoidance orientations. At present, there appears to be widespread agreement on performance avoidance goals and learning goals. But, there is disagreement among achievement goal theories regarding the beneficial or inimical nature of performance-approach goals. Goal orientation, or the way in which people approach a task, represents a key motivational variable related to selection, training, and evaluation. It has received a considerable amount of research interest. Although it is still in a relatively early stage, the accumulating evidence presents an emerging picture of the nature of goal orientation, its relationship with conceptually similar variables, and how it influences learning and performance.
Burnout is a syndrome of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and diminished personal accomplishment that occurs among people in professions that deal with people. Although burnout has generally been regarded as a work related disorder, it may also occur in the school context. A school is a setting in which students work: students attend classes and do assignments in order to pass exams and obtain a degree. Student burnout can be defined as consisting of exhaustion due to school demands, cynical, and detached attitude toward one's school, and feelings of inadequacy as a student. Understanding the factors that influence people burnout has been a popular topic in psychological research in the last few decades. Self-efficacy belief has received increasing attention in educational research.
In order to examine and investigate the mediating effects of academic self-efficacy on the relationship between goal orientation and student burnout, 1139 students were randomly chosen as subjects. SEM results revealed that (1) learning goal orientation and performance-approach orientation had significantly positive direct influence on student burnout, but performance-avoid approach exerted significantly negative direct effect on student burnout; (2) academic self-efficacy was one of the mediating factors whereby goal orientations affect student burnout. Learning goal orientation and performance-approach orientation influenced student burnout fully through academic self-efficacy, but performance-avoid approach affected student burnout partly throuzh academic self-efficacy_
