信息科学与旅游的交叉研究是探索旅游问题、规律及原理的新思路与方法。为了系统地概括信息科学与旅游的交叉研究现状和最新进展,采用系统综述(systematic review)方法对该交叉领域最近12年的主要研究进行了归纳和分析。该系统综述回答了如下3个问题:①信息科学研究中面向旅游的研究主要有哪些方面;②旅游研究中与信息科学相关的研究主要有哪些方面;③信息科学与旅游的交叉研究有哪些趋势。
信息科學與旅遊的交扠研究是探索旅遊問題、規律及原理的新思路與方法。為瞭繫統地概括信息科學與旅遊的交扠研究現狀和最新進展,採用繫統綜述(systematic review)方法對該交扠領域最近12年的主要研究進行瞭歸納和分析。該繫統綜述迴答瞭如下3箇問題:①信息科學研究中麵嚮旅遊的研究主要有哪些方麵;②旅遊研究中與信息科學相關的研究主要有哪些方麵;③信息科學與旅遊的交扠研究有哪些趨勢。

Interdisciplinary research on information science and tourism provides new thought and methods to explore issues, rules and principles of tourism. In China' s tourism research, there is much review research covering a variety of topics. However, interdisciplinary research on information science and tourism does not receive close attention. Few papers construct a baseline for researchers to start their studies or explore deeper issues in the interdisciplinary field. Researchers do not have the related research knowledge in this area of study. This problem will affect the development of the field in China. Currently, China' s tourism industry has a strong demand for methods and principles for the application of information science and technologies in tourism. China' s tourism industry is trying to apply new thought and methods from interdisciplinary research on information science and tourism to solve real problems. To comprehensively summarize the progress of the interdisciplinary research on information science and tourism, this paper uses a systematic review method to analyze the interdisciplinary research on information science and tourism during the last 12 years. According to the systematic review procedure, first, three questions that this paper should answer were identified: What are the main tourism -related issues in information science research? What are the main information science-related issues in tourism research? What are the trends of interdisciplinary research on information science and tourism? Second, this paper identified search strategy, including search tools and databases, search keys and time period, and evaluation criteria, including two rounds of selection and deletion criteria for the searched papers. Finally, 245 articles were selected to be analyzed for the systematic review. The analysis results include the following: (1) identification of 20 research topics in tourism-related information science research, and a progress analysis of the most important 10 topics, which are application system, artificial intelligence, geographic information system, mobile application, recommendation system, semantic Web and ontology, Web service, virtual reality, pervasive computing, and computer simulation. The identification of the 20 research topics helps to clarify existing vague ideas about the interdisciplinary research on information science and tourism; (2) identification of 43 research topics in tourism research related to information science research, further classification of 6 domains that are; information technologies' effect on tourism, application mode of information technologies in tourism, information technology application evaluation, tourism research objects with regard to information society, tourism research methods under the society informationization, information science research in the tourism field, and progress analysis of each domain. This classification of the 6 research scopes helps to clearly identify the main problems that need to be solved by applying information science methods and technologies in tourism; (3) analysis and summary of 3 key points in future interdisciplinary research on information science and tourism, which are the advanced application of artificial intelligence in tourism, semantic Web and ontology-based tourism recommendation systems, and pervasive computing and tourism (including the net of things, mobile Internet and tourism). These reflect the main development trends in the interdisciplinary research.
