校外实习基地是高校培养卓越工程人才的重要阵地和根本保障。结合“卓越计划”首先分析了校外实习基地建设的意义、建设原则，阐述了校外实习实训基地建设的体系、内容、师资队伍建设和教学方式改革。实践证明其能够拓展企业参与人才培养的深度和广度，提升学生的工程实践能力及创新能力，提高人才培养质量。

Off-campus practice base plays an important role in cultivating outstanding engineering talents and it is also the fundamental guarantee of colleges practice teaching. Based on the ＂excellence program＂, this article first analyzes the meaning and construction principles of off-campus practice base and explains its construction system, contents, faculties, teaching methods and effects, which is designed for the students majoring in computer science and technology in Hubei University of Automotive Technology. It has been proved that this of＆campus practice base can increase the depth and breadth of enterprises involvement in personnel training, improve students＇ practical engineering ability and innovative capability and strengthen the quality of personnel training. Thus the multi-win goal of university, enterprises and students can be achieved.
