群众工作是公安机关的一项基础工作，是基层民警必须具备的一项基本功，掌握沟通方法与技巧，是做好群众工作的前提。针对新时期警民关系沟通存在的问题，基层民警要做好群众工作就必须具备一些与群众沟通的技巧与方法，探索出适应于新形势下公安机关开展警民沟通的管理机制。

Mass work is one of the many basic works of public security bureau as well as the basic sinus of ponce at grass- roots level. Mastering the means and the skills of communication is the premise of an efficient mass work. In the light of the problems existed in the communication between police and people in the new period, grass-roots level police have to learn and apply some skills of communication while deal with the people .affairs, in order to adapt to the new management mechanism under the current situation.
