佛教的轮回思想、利他思想以及施舍精神贯穿于整个藏族丧葬习俗的仪式过程中,成为藏族丧葬习俗最根本的思想基础。藏族丧葬习俗主要包括卜算、施＂颇瓦＂法、送殡、天葬、吊祭等内容。文章指出藏族的丧葬习俗是在藏区地方性文化的时空中,按仪式顺序依次展演分离-过渡-聚合的全部过程,充分反映了藏民族对待死亡的智慧,其最终目的都是为了在死亡打破平衡后,通过仪式的净化,得到新的平衡,使生者的生活能够继续。

The ideas of samsara,altruism and almsgiving of Buddhism have become the fundamental ideological foundation of the Tibetan funeral custom as they are involved in the whole process of the Tibetan funeral.The Tibetan funeral consists mainly of： practicing divination,＂powa＂,the process of corpse delivering,celestial burial,condolence ceremonies and so on.The article points out that Tibetan funeral custom is a part of the Tibetan local culture,and it performs a complete process of separation,transition and uniting,which fully reflects the wisdom of the Tibetan people towards death.As death breaks balance,the ultimate aim of the funeral custom is to have the living get new balance to continue their life through the purification of ceremony.
