The current problems in the teaching of statistics course are analyzed in the paper. And it suggests we should appropriately increase the difficulty of theoretical courses, emphasize the teaching of case and statistical software, perfect the construction of practice base outside school and teacher quality, further enrich the exam content and reform the examination system.
