和谐社会的建构离不开媒介生态环境的优化，平衡、协调的媒介生态系统无疑将推动和谐乡村的建设。从武陵少数民族地区农村的田野调查，可知少数民族地区的大众传播媒介在功能与结构方面严重失衡。因此从政府、媒介、农村受众三方面构建媒介生态优化的策略，不论对国家发展战略还是民族地区发展都具有深远的意义。

Construction of a harmonious society is impossible without optimizing the environment of media ecology. A balanced and coordinative media ecology system can surely promote the construction of harmonious rural areas, especially in ethnic minority regions. A field investigation in ethnic minority rural areas of Wuling shows that mass media is seriously unbalanced in function and structure. Therefore, the strategy of optimizing media ecology construction through joint efforts of the government, media and rural audiences is of profound significance to both state development strategy and the development of ethnic regions.
