目前，海南旅游业陷入诸如低端旅游既限制了旅游业收入的提高，同时人流量过大又破坏了生态环境，旅游产品结构单一、竞争力不强的困境。在全国大力发展文化产业的背景之下，发展海南艺术产业建设国际艺术岛具有重要的现实意义。以艺术产业为支撑发展海南旅游业，打造“国际艺术岛”，有利于实现“国际旅游岛”的战略目标。海南自身的优势使国际艺术岛的建设具有可能性。针对海南艺术生产、传播、消费过程中所面临的挑战，论文提出了建议和对策。

Nowadays the tourism industry in Hainan is facing a series of predicaments. For instance, the lowcost tourism limits the income increase of the tourism industry while the overflow of tourists destroys the ecological environment, and the tourism products are not fully developed and the competition is not strong. While the entire nation is making the great efforts to develop the culture industry, it is of greatly practical significance to develop the art industry and construct an International Art Island in Hainan. To develop the tourism industry susmined by the art industry in Hainan so as to create International Art Island will accelerate the achievement of the strategic aim of International Tourism Island. The advantages of Hainan make the construction of International Art Island possible. In terms of the challenges from the art production, spread and consumption in Hainan, this paper puts forward the relevant suggestions and measures.
