一个多世纪以来，在政治上寻求中国富强道路的同时，文学上也在呼唤“大师”级的文坛巨匠，这都充满了曲折和艰辛。文学创作上茅盾的理性分析，巴金的激情似火，老舍的幽默、谐趣，都在文学史上留下光辉的一页，但都没达到世界一流“大师”的巅峰，“大师”的出现，除了写作才华之外，更需要一种对时代、历史、群众乃至自己超越中的孤独感的思辨张力，对此进行挖掘将对当下的文学创作具有启发意义。
일개다세기이래，재정치상심구중국부강도로적동시，문학상야재호환“대사”급적문단거장，저도충만료곡절화간신。문학창작상모순적이성분석，파금적격정사화，로사적유묵、해취，도재문학사상류하광휘적일혈，단도몰체도세계일류“대사”적전봉，“대사”적출현，제료사작재화지외，경수요일충대시대、역사、군음내지자기초월중적고독감적사변장력，대차진행알굴장대당하적문학창작구유계발의의。
For more than a century, Chinese literature has been calling for the emergence of literary giants along with the coun- try＇s striving for political and economic strength. This is a process full of twists and turns. Considering literary creation, though Mao Dun＇s rationality, Ba Jin＇s passion, and Laoshe＇s humor left a glorious page in the history of literature, they failed to reach the pinnacle of world -class ＂master＂. The ＂master＂, in addition to writing talent, must be equipped with a Spekulation of loneliness which has transcended the era of history, the masses and even oneself. Further exploration of this theme will be in- structive to literary creation.
