2011年10-11月在广东珠江三角洲5个城市展开的“新市民工作与生活”问卷调查结果表明，90后农民工逐步成为农民工群体的重要组成部分。与80后新生代农民工相比较，90后农民工具有一些新的群体特性，但是，这些差异不足以支持90后农民工与80后农民工之间有质的代际差异的假设。

The survey on ＂Work and I.ifestyle of New Citizens＂ conducted in five cities in the Pearl River Delta in Guangdong Province in October and No-vember of 2011 indicated that migrant workers born in the 1990s have become a major component of rural migrants in these cities. Compared with those born in the 1980s, they showed new group characteristics. However, these differences are not enough to support the hypothesis that rural migrants born in the 1980s and the 1990s have qualitative inter-generational differences.
