当前快递业三种模式都存在局限性：独立运营模式的网点分布不足,服务半径较小;联合运营模式的可控物流资源有限;供应链运营模式取决于行业景气程度。快递业SDN运营模式的优越性在于：扩大服务类型、提高资源优化配置效率、提高行业间物流顺畅对接程度以及扩大服务半径及网点数量。把快递业传统模式和SDN运营模式进行比较的研究表明,快递业SDN运营模式在送达时间、客户感受价值、服务类型和行业合作等方面更具竞争力。

The limitations of current express industry can be summarized as, firstly, a shortage of distribution sites and the small coverage of every service site; secondly, a limitation of controllable logistic resources under the mode of joint operation; and thirdly, a high dependence of the supply chain mode on the prosperity of the express industry. The proposed SND operation mode high-lights its advantages in such aspects as amplifying the types of services, promoting the efficiency of resource optimization, facilitating the efficiency of butt joints in different industries, increasing the numbers of service sites, and expanding the coverage of each service site. Compared with traditional operation mode, the SND mode is far more competitive in shortening the delivery time, providing better service, enhancing service types, and collaborating with other businesses.
