瑶族何时开始迁入越南，史无明载，学术争讼久悬未结。本文通过对《周玄柜信歌》的破读，并与历史文献相互佐证，得出结论：明朝建文四年（1402年），广西泗城府（今广西凌云县）周玄柜与60户瑶族迁入越南宣光省锡影地区居住，是瑶族向越南迁徙的最早且规模较大的批次。

The academic have disputed a long time when the Yao nationality began to move into Viet- nam, but it was unsolved.
