本文基于口译过程模式和翻译能力理论,通过刺激回忆、问卷、笔记和访谈四种方法,针对交替传译过程中译员认知心理因素对其口译策略选择的影响进行实证研究。结果显示,口译过程中,学生译员和职业译员共采用了20种口译策略,可归类为记忆和概念形成策略、表达策略和协调策略。职业译员在策略选择和使用的质与量上,和学生译员相比优势明显。影响译员的认知心理因素中,学生译员主要在注意力、记忆力、毅力、自信心、严谨度、逻辑能力和综合能力因素上与职业译员存在显著差距。认知心理因素中记忆和注意力的有效分配影响记忆和概念形成策略;逻辑、综合能力影响表达和协调策略;自信心、严谨度和毅力影响口译全过程,直接决定译员的口译策略。

Based on the Interpreting Process Model and the theory of Translation Competence, the paper conducts an empirical study on the influences of cognitive psychological components on consecutive interpreting strategies, by adopting instruments of stimulated recalls, questionnaires, notes, and post-test interviews. The evidence discussed suggests that student and professional interpreters adopt some 20 kinds of interpreting strategies, which can be classified into memorizing and conceptual, expressing and coordinating strategies. Professional interpreters are superior to student interpreters in both the quality and quantity of interpreting strategy-choosing. A prominent difference between them is also found in their cognitive psychological components of attention, memory, perseverance, confidence, rigor, logic, and synthesis. Among these components, the effective allocation of memory and attention influences memorizing and conceptual strategies; logic and synthesis exert influences on expressing and coordinating strategies; meanwhile, confidence, rigor and perseverance influence the whole interpreting process, acting directly and decisively on interpreters' choice of strategies.
