本文运用伯顿·克拉克的“协调三角模型”构建大学知识生产发展动力研究的理论模型，得出政府、产业界及大学内学术群体是现代大学知识生产的主要动力源。历时性分析得出各动力源在不同时期的演化历程。共时性分析表明：各动力源及其交互作用在不同国家显示出各自特征，政府、产业界和大学内学术群体在大学知识生产中均发挥重要作用。中国现代大学应充分发挥各方力量及其交互作用，优化大学知识生产的动力结构。

Government, industry and academic organization have inade up the motivation sources of university% knowledge production based on the theoretical model of the motivation structure of universities＂ knowledge production from Burton R Clark＇s ＂Harmony Triangle＂. History analysis reveals the development of each motivation source in different periods. Comparative analysis shows the characteristic of each motivation source and their interaction. Government, industry and academic organization all play an important role in knowledge production. Chinese universities should bring the power of each source and their interaction into full play to improve the motivation structure of knowledge production.
