在生态足迹原理的基础上,文章以耒阳市为研究区,运用生态足迹方法评价耒阳市2006年至2010年的生态安全状况。结果表明：由于经济快速发展、城镇化进程加快,耒阳市人均生态足迹远远超过人均生态承载力,生态系统处于超负荷状态,其中化石能源用地、草地和建筑用地呈现严重的生态赤字。研究认为,综合有效地利用现有资源,积极开发农田,发展生态农业,提高耕地的综合利用率,调整和优化产业结构,发展高新技术产业,建立资源节约型的社会生产和生活消费体系,是实现生态安全的有效途径,也是耒阳市实现经济可持续发展的保证。

Based on the principle of ecological footprint, the paper uses ecological footprint to research the city＇s ecological safety, taking Leiyang City as the study area from the year of 2006 - 2010. It turns that, with the rapid increase of ecology and urbanization, Leiyang City＇s ecological footprint surpasses the ecological capacity per capita, and the ecosystem is in a overburdened position. The paper suggests that Leiyang City should improve resources＇ utilization ratio and rationalize the structure if production. Only on the premise of its ecological safety will this area earn a sustainable development.
