本文基于社会支持、应对方式和主观幸福感的相关理论,构建了三者之间关系的框架,以武汉、荆门、深圳三个城市的离退休员工为研究对象,实证研究了社会支持对离退休员工主观幸福感的影响,以及应对方式的调节作用。研究结果表明,社会支持的三个维度均对离退休员工主观幸福感具有较好的预测作用;离退休员工的应对方式与其主观幸福感显著正相关;离退休员工的应对方式对社会支持与其主观幸福感关系的调节作用显著。

With the increasing trend of population aging, how to better protect the life interests of retired staff and constantly improve the life quality of them has become one of the issues commonly faced by all the countries throughout the world. It is in this context that "healthy aging" and "active aging" emerge at a historic moment. In the Second World Assembly on Ageing, United Nations first proposed "active aging" concept, stressing that the eld- erly should continue to participate in the social, economic, cultural, spiritual and public affairs, rather than just be involved in physical activities or participate in workforce. Thereupon, China proposed the objective of aging treatment as "Six Elderly Doings" ,which includes the following six aspects: providing the elderly with security, medical treatment, worthiness, education, happiness and teaching. Along with China' s stepping into aging society, the life satisfaction of the retired staff is a concern in the process of the construction of a harmonious society. The aging of the population has brought tremendous pressures for the society, leading to the increase in the Social Security costs of retired staff and the aggravation of social pension burden. The physical health condition, mental health status, economic status and life satisfaction are all important indicators to measure social development. The study of subjective well-being of retired staff helps to understand and improve their quality of life, help them maintain mental health, and be conducive to the stability of the family and the development of a healthy society. In China's development process, the retired staff has made ?? a huge contribution. Therefore,they should enjoy the results of social progress together with other groups. On one hand, the physical function of the retired staff is declined and the psychological state is changing with the changes in the physical and social environment, accordingly, they become more vulnerable psychologically, lack of the ability to adapt to society, and variant in thinking, behavior and lifestyle. In addition,the retired staff has relatively lower income levels. Due to the economic level' s impact on the quality of life, SWB of the retired staff is affected. On the other hand, along with China's rapid economic development, the material life of various groups, which include the retired staff, has greatly improved. After the meeting of basic material needs, the retired population begin to pursue a higher level demands, including security needs, spiritual needs and self-worth achieving requirements according to Maslow's need hierarchy theory. Whether these needs can be satisfied or not is directly related to the life satisfaction of them. As time goes on, the future retired staff, which is the middle-aged at present, will pay more attention to spiritual pursuit and the realization of self-worth than elderly people now. In a word, the importance of SWB has been growing. Researchers have made more and more studies on subjective well-being,while they have paid a little attention to the relationship between social support and subjective well-being. What's more, the recent researches are largely aimed at students, but seldom about the relationship between social support and SWB of retired staff. In addition, previous studies lack analysis on the mechanism of social support' s impact on SWB. Thus, this paper adds coping style creatively to discuss social support' s accommodation effect. Based on the theories about social support, coping styles and subjective well-being, this paper built a framework of their relationships. The study carried out an investigation with the means of questionnaire survey which gathered 163 valid questionnaires of retired staff from three cities: Wuhan, Jingmen and Shenzhen, and then examined the impact of social support on SWB and regulatory role of coping styles. The results showed that all the three dimen- sions of social support can well predict the level of SWB, so do the coping styles ; coping styles can adjust the relationship between social support and SWB.
