随着新世纪人口老龄化“银色浪潮”席卷世界，我国面临着未富先老的困境与难题。作为老年人问题研究的重要组成部分，城市老年人体育研究愈来愈受到人们重视；无论从研究论文发表的层次、影响看，还是从职称、学历结构方面看，这种研究均达到了前所未有的深度与广度，但仍问题多多。因此，对现有研究成果进行恰切分类与科学分析，指出存在问题、提出发展建议，在总结经验、提升理论的同时，进一步理性审视城市老年人体育研究问题就显得格外重要。

With the ＂silver tide＂ of the aged the new century, China is especially faced tendency of population sweeps over the world, in with the difficulties and problems of aging before getting rich. As an important part of research on the problems of old people, the research on the sports for old people in cities is paid more and more attention to. The depth and width of the research unprecedented, both from the level and influence, and from the titles and degrees of researchers. However, there are still problems. So, it is very important to properly classify and scientifically analyze the existing research results, point out existing problems, put forward suggestions for development, and sum up experience and theories, and further review rationally the sports for old people.
