以元认知理论为指导,以Vandergrift等人的听力元认知意识问卷为研究工具,采用定量的研究方法,对169名大学新生的听力理解困难进行调查。研究发现,他们对完成听力任务的信心不足、对听力过程有较低的抗焦虑能力和较弱的回避母语策略意识。对这些听力困难在元认知框架内进行了分析,并提出了相应的对策以提高他们的听力元认知意识,最终提高他们的英语听力水平。

On the basis of the metacognition theory,if9 university freshmen were tested for their English listening comprehension difficulties with the Metacognitve Awareness Listening Questionnaire designed by Vandergrift and other scholars. The finding are as follows: from the metacognitive perspective, their main difficulties lie in that they have less self-confidence and high listening anxiety and they often use mother tongue strategies. These difficulties are analyzed and countermeasures are put forward for raising their metacoKiitive listening awareness to improving their listening ability.
