当代大学生作为高校的教育主体，在文化传承和创新工作中发挥着主体作用。但随着世界多元文化和西方发达国家各种思潮的涌入，我国社会的主流意识形态和文化受到了冲击，导致了大学生文化自信的失落，在文化活动中表现出文化自卑和文化自大两种不良倾向。因此，大学生应树立起文化自信，坚持用社会主义核心价值体系引领主流文化，正确对待世界各民族文化，以创新的姿态推动我国文化发展。

As the major part of college education, contemporary college students play an indispensable part in cultural inheritance and innovation. However, with the influx of the multiple cultures from the world and different thoughts from the developed western countries, the mainstream ideologies and culture of our society have been impacted, which result in the loss of students cultural self- confidence and develops into two unhealthy tendencies of cultural self-abasement and cultural arrogance. The college students shall raise their cultural consciousness, adhere to the mainstream culture of socialist ideological system, treat the cultures of different nations appropriately, and foster innovative concepts so that they can make due contributions to the cultural heritage and innovation.
