古今中外的教材卷帙浩繁，进行教材研究是一项浩大的工程，将教材碎片化并加以编码而形成的数据库为教材研究增加了可检索性、客观性和可积累性。数据库建设的确艰苦繁重，但以数据库为依据开展教材研究，可以提高教材研究的科学性水平。数据的来源、数据的切分与编码、基础数据库的建设以及二级数据库中主题的建构均是教材数据库建设中的关键问题。

Because the iarge amount of textbooks in the world, textbook research is really a huge project. Cutting texts in textbooks into segments and coding every segment into a large database will be a useful method to make textbook research more retrievable, more objective, and more cumulative. Although the construction of large database is really very difficult, the textbook research on large scale database will be more scientific. The source of data, the spliting of data, the coding of data, and the construction of basic database and the subject of secondary database will be the key problems.
