长期以来,语文教育界对1923年高级中学国语科课程纲要的制定者和版本存在分歧。经考察,冯顺伯之《公共必修科国语科学程纲要》和穆济波之《第一组必修科本科特设国文科学程纲要》是依据新学制课程标准起草委员会第二次会议的决议拟订的。嗣后修正的《高级中学课程总纲》将高级中学普通科分科必修分为文、理两组,胡适负责起草与之配套的国语科课程纲要,即《高级中学公共必修的国语课程纲要》和《高级中学第一组必修的特设国文课程纲要》。前后两版国语课程纲要不仅刊布时间有异,其课程观也存在根本分歧,属不同的两派。

장기이래,어문교육계대1923년고급중학국어과과정강요적제정자화판본존재분기。경고찰,풍순백지《공공필수과국어과학정강요》화목제파지《제일조필수과본과특설국문과학정강요》시의거신학제과정표준기초위원회제이차회의적결의의정적。사후수정적《고급중학과정총강》장고급중학보통과분과필수분위문、리량조,호괄부책기초여지배투적국어과과정강요,즉《고급중학공공필수적국어과정강요》화《고급중학제일조필수적특설국문과정강요》。전후량판국어과정강요불부간포시간유이,기과정관야존재근본분기,속불동적량파。
In Chinese teaching field, there have long been different opinions on the designers and the versions of Chinese Curriculum standard of senior middle school in 1923. According to our research, Chinese Curriculum Standard of The Public Required Course by Feng Shunbo and Special Chinese Curriculum Standard of the Professional Required Course for The First Group by Mu Jibo were drafted on the basis of a resolution that was made in the second conference of new educational system's curriculum standard drafting committee. Later, the revised version of National Senior Middle School Curriculum Guide divided the required courses in general high school into two parts, which were arts and science. To support the guide, Hu Shi was in charge of drafting the corresponding Chinese Curriculum standard of senior middle school, called Chinese Curriculum Standard of the Public Required Course in Senior Middle School and Special Chinese Curriculum Standard of The Required Course for the First Group. Therefore, the former and later versions differ not only in the publishing dates, but also in the curriculum ideas. That is why we classify them into two factions.
