沅水入洞庭湖口河湖相连，河网交织，水系紊乱，水情极为复杂。因历年来频繁挽垸建障，加上现今对湖口湿地的无序和过度开发、周边工农业生产污染以及三峡蓄水工程建设等因素的影响．导致沅水入湖口三角洲发育迅速，湿地珍稀植物及鸟类、鱼类等动、植物资源种群数量迅速减少，生物多样性衰退趋势十分明显，湿地功能退化。应加强流域综合治理、实行江湖同治，加大退田还湖力度、疏浚天然河道、恢复入湖口河流故道，加强入湖口自然保护区的建设和管理，以逐步恢复其湿地功能。
沅水入洞庭湖口河湖相連，河網交織，水繫紊亂，水情極為複雜。因歷年來頻繁輓垸建障，加上現今對湖口濕地的無序和過度開髮、週邊工農業生產汙染以及三峽蓄水工程建設等因素的影響．導緻沅水入湖口三角洲髮育迅速，濕地珍稀植物及鳥類、魚類等動、植物資源種群數量迅速減少，生物多樣性衰退趨勢十分明顯，濕地功能退化。應加彊流域綜閤治理、實行江湖同治，加大退田還湖力度、疏浚天然河道、恢複入湖口河流故道，加彊入湖口自然保護區的建設和管理，以逐步恢複其濕地功能。
원수입동정호구하호상련，하망교직，수계문란，수정겁위복잡。인력년래빈번만완건장，가상현금대호구습지적무서화과도개발、주변공농업생산오염이급삼협축수공정건설등인소적영향．도치원수입호구삼각주발육신속，습지진희식물급조류、어류등동、식물자원충군수량신속감소，생물다양성쇠퇴추세십분명현，습지공능퇴화。응가강류역종합치리、실행강호동치，가대퇴전환호력도、소준천연하도、회복입호구하류고도，가강입호구자연보호구적건설화관리，이축보회복기습지공능。
The water regimen of the intersection of Yuanjiang river and Dongting Lake river is extremely complicated, its network intertwined, the river System disturbance. Because of the Influence of the frequent embankment construction barrier all through the ages, coupled with the excessive development of its wetland, peripheral production of industry and agriculture pollution as well as water storage of the shanxia Project Construction eet, which led to the rapid development of the delta area, the quantity of wetland rare plants, birds, fish , animal ancl plant resources decreased rapidly, The biodiversity decline obviously, the functions of wetland degrade. What we need to do now is to strengthen the integrated management of River Basin, execute ＂rive and lake co-governance＂, increase the strength of returning farmland lake, dredge natural river, recover the ancient channel and strengthen the construction and management of natural reserves, thus gradually restore the wetland function.
