中国共产党人对于中国特色社会主义道路的探索,经历了一个从＂摸着石头过河＂到道路自觉再到道路自信的过程。改革开放之初,党抱定＂摸着石头过河＂的决心和勇气试水中国特色社会主义道路。十六大宣告中国特色社会主义的市场经济体制初步建成,表明党对中国特色社会主义道路的自觉。十八大提出＂道路自信＂,反映党对中国特色社会主义道路探索实现了由必然王国向自由王国的历史性跨越。

To explore the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics, the Communist Party of China has undergone a process from ＂crossing the river by feeling the stones＂ to the road consciousness, and then to the road self-confidence. At the beginning of reform and opening up, the Party tried the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics holding the determination and courage of ＂crossing the river by feeling the stones＂. The 16th national party congress declared the Chinese characteristic socialism market economic system having initially built, which indicates the Party ’ s self-consciousness to the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The 18th national party congress proposed ＂road self-confidence＂, which reflects the party has realized the historical leap from the realm of necessity to the realm of freedom on the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
