郁飞翻译林语堂的英语长篇小说MomentinPeking，是译界一件很特殊的任务。其中原文及原文作者与译本及译者之间的关系很复杂，涉及到乱世沧桑与生离死别的社会背景，至交好友与至亲父子的人物关系，倾情相托与父债子还的文坛佳话。这些背景，对译者的主体性有重大的影响。因此，对此译作的解读，不能忽略了其译者主体性对译作的影响及其在译作中的体现。本文试图借用杨晓荣老师的“同情的理解“的观点，从译者主体性的形成背景，对译作的影响，以及译本中语言风格和文化意象的回归等方面对郁飞的译本《瞬息京华》中的译者主体性进行解读。

The translation of Lin Yutang＇ s English novel Moment in Peking is a special task in the field of translation. The background of translation is extremely complex, concerning the society in years of wars which separate people by life or death, the complicated relationship between closest friends and between father and son, the story of entrusting the translation to an old friend and being fulfilled by his son after his death. All these background aspects together exert a great influence on the subjectivity of the translator. Therefore, in order to fully understand the translated version, one must not neglect the influence of translator~ s subjectivity on the target text. From the perspective of understanding in a sympathetic way mentioned by Dr. Yang Xiaorong, the essay tries to analyze the translator~ s subjectivity of Moment in Peking from the following aspects, the background of its form- ing, the influence on the target text, and the hint of it in the target text from the perspective of resto- ring language style and cultural images.
