粤词是岭南文化的一个部分，也是中国词史一个不可或缺的板块。目前文献整理与研究已有一定基础，但以“全”责之仍有很大差距；作家、作品的个案研究只局限于少数大家、名家；词史发展研究还处于粗线条勾勒层面；许多重要的理论问题尚待解决。全面而深入的粤词研究，对于当代岭南文化的建设和词文学的创作，对于千年词史的完整认识与描述，皆有重要意义。需有明确的思路和总体的规划，需要更多学者的关注与参与，需要政府的重视与经费投入。

The Ci Poetry is part of the Guangdong culture, and is also an indispensible section of Chinese Po- etry history. Currently, some literature review and theoretical interpretation have been completed, but there is still a long way to go for a comprehensive and deep study. Only some of the famous writers and their works have been studied. Many theoretical problems need to be solved. Systematical researches into the Ci Poetry of Guangdong in future will greatly contribute to the construction of Lingnan culture and poetic literary creation, and to a comprehen- sive description of the long history of the Ci Poetry.
