目前关于伊斯兰极端主义、伊斯兰恐怖主义的文章较多，但这并不是伊斯兰教的核心，《古兰经》中有诸多“和平”、“中道”的成分，大部分伊斯兰教众也是热爱和平的。通过分析伊斯兰教在文莱的推广与实施情况，作者认为，在文莱政治社会发展过程中，伊斯兰教的精神与原则起到了重要作用。正是由于文莱长期以来坚持伊斯兰教的“和平”、“中道”与“积极奋斗”等理念与价值，彰显了文莱的国家形象，增强了文莱的社会凝聚力，促进了文莱的反腐倡廉，从整体上带动了文莱的发展。

At present, the works about Islamic extremism and Islamic terrorism is common, but both are not the core idea of Islam. There are many scriptures about ＂peace＂ and ＂middle path＂ in Quran, and most Islamic pil- grims love peace as well. The author believes that Islamic spirit and principles played an important role in Brunei political and social development process through the analysis of Islam in Brunei. Brunei long-term insistence on ＂peace＂, ＂middle path＂ and ＂positive struggle ＂ highlights the image of the country, strengthens social cohesion, promotes anti-corruption and drives all-around development.
