“我们的节日”系列活动自诞生之初，社会各界就发表了不同意见，赞赏与质疑兼而有之。那么，政府在宣传和发扬传统节日精神的过程中应起到什么作用？如何挖掘传统节日的文化内涵？如何让传统文化与现代文化融合并代代延续？以东莞市“我们的节日”几项活动的具体情况为例，从节日民俗的行为主体、特性和发展演变规律等方面可对这些问题作出解答。
