本文在已有研究的基础上构建计量模型，实证研究新疆公共支出对新疆城乡居民收入差距的影响。研究结果发现，新疆公共支出有利于缩小城乡居民收入差距；经济增长是影响城乡居民收入差距的主要因素；工业化水平和产业结构演进是影响城乡居民收入差距的重要因素；城市化水平和城乡二元制度是影响居民收入差距的因素之一。新疆公共支出结构对新疆城乡居民收入差距影响不尽相同：文科教卫支出和行政管理支出与城乡居民收入差距呈正向关系，促使城乡居民收入差距扩大；基本建设支出、支农支出和企业挖潜改造支出均与城乡居民收入差距呈负向关系，有利于缩小城乡居民收入差距。

Based on previous studies, this paper makes an empirical study of the impact of public expenditure on the income gap between urban and rural residents in Xinjiang by establishing an econometric model. The results found that the Xinjiang publie expenditure is conductive to narrowing the income gap between urban and rural residents, but is not the main factor affecting it. The level of industrialization and the evolution of industrial structure are important factors affecting the income gap between urban and rural residents. So are the economic growth, the level of urbanization and urban - rural dualistie system. The impact that Xinjiang public expenditure st.＇ucture has made on the urban - rural income gap is not the same. The relationship between the ex- penditure of culture, science, education and health and administrative expenditure of urbaa -rural residents＇ income gap is posi- tive, which promotes urban- rural income disparities. The relationship between infrastructure expenditure, expenditure on agri- culture and enterprise revamp expenditures and the income gap betwcea urban and rural residents is negative, which is conductive to narr~vir.g the income gap between urban and rural residents. Finally, it makes relevant recommendations based on the conclu- sions.
