中国对美国非裔文学的译介与研究已有百余年历史,大致可划分为"译介和宣传期"(1901-1976)与"译介和研究期"(1977-2012)两个时期。"译介和宣传期"的研究宗旨主要包含"爱国行为"和"政治行为"两个方面,"译介和研究期"则可细分为"获奖作品研究期"和"广泛研究期"两个阶段。中国对美国非裔文学的研究成就有目共睹,但也还存在许多不足:尚有大量优秀的美国非裔文学作品和理论成果有待翻译成中文;研究扎堆现象严重,缺乏系统性;重获奖作家轻早期作品,重小说轻诗歌和戏剧,重文本分析轻理论阐释,重个体研究轻整体研究;借鉴与批判意识有待加强;研究力量亟待整合,学术规范有待加强,研究成果的水平有待提高。

The history of translation and study of African American literature in China can be traced back to about 100 years ago,and has gone through 2 stages,respectively the stage of translation and publicity(1901-1976) and the stage of translation and research(1977-2012).The former features the patriotism-orientation and politics-orientation,while the latter can be further divided into two phases,the first mainly focusing on those prize-winning works and authors and the second on a broader range of works and authors.Remarkable achievements have been made so far in this field,but there also exist some problems,including inadequate translation of masterpieces of literary works and theoretical works,lack of systematic research,preference of prize-winning works to other works of the same authors,fiction to poetry and drama,textual analysis to theoretical research,and case study to integrated study,inadequate sense of criticism,and inefficiency in deployment of research force and in applying academic criteria and norms.
