教育质量是教育的生命线，也是个体和家庭、社会的生命线。作为三重生命线交织在一起的教育质量，最本质地表征着教育的最基本的规律。我国当代教育质量境况堪忧，突出表现为学生片面发展严重和社会适应性差。提高教育质量是教育的恒久课题，必须正确认识其战略性，并着眼于“生命的意义”来组织实施，教育自身才具有“生命的价值”。
