如何讲述中国当代文学史，其意义不仅止于课堂教学范畴，更关乎当代文学学科之品格。习见的“知识型”文学史课堂，其传达的知识本身似乎并不那么可靠：“历史”与“历史化”的超近距离以及意识形态与文学的多变关系，带来了知识的动荡不安；用心良苦的“体系化”著史与讲史方式，不经意造成了知识的遗漏与遮蔽；文学史的教科书模式及其在课堂上的“话本化”，更易导致知识的霸权意味。在此情况下，以原始中立、细节饱满的文学史实来取代对知识的“孜孜以求”或许可为当代文学的讲述另辟蹊径：通过讲述大量具有问题或理论指向的文学史实，来透视中国当代文学各阶段的历史河床。其鲜明的学术品性，更助推中国当代文学学科之积淀与成熟。

The method of teaching Chinese modern literature history which has a significance beyond literary teaching, is closely related with the character of modern literature as a discipline. The familiar Knowledge-based course of literary history does not seem to be able to transfer reliable knowledge. The reason lies in many aspects： the exceedingly close relationship between history and historicization and the various relationships between literature and ideology could bring about instability of knowledge; Cautiously institutionalized historical writing and teaching could lead to omission and shadowing of knowledge; the textbook model of literary history and the tendency of textualization in classroom could cause hegemony of knowledge. To deal with these problems, we should pursue primitive and neutral historical facts with considerable details rather than knowledge. The teaching of historical facts which is more distinctively academic could help Chinese modern literary history to become more accumulated and mature. Through a great deal of problematically and theoretically oriented historical facts, we could see much clearly riverbeds of different stages in Chinese modern literary history.
