The Core Idea of student-oriented has been highlighted in the student affairs administration in American colleges and universities, which is embodied in three aspects： respecting students, serving students and developing students. At present, the staff members in charge of the ideological work of students in our country should learn from the idea of the student affairs administration in American colleges and universities, and further strengthen consciousness of service, col- laborative and holistic education, so as to truly achieve the ideal state of educating students with caring, working together and using culture.
