刘勰的《文心雕龙》运用声训的方法，对文体名称的得名之由进行了大量的解释。这些解释旨在“释名以彰义”，于汉人声训而言，有继承，有发展，更有创新。本文对《文心雕龙》声训的语音关系、语义关系及其成就与不足三个方面进行了探讨。

In his masterpiece of literary aesthetics Wen Xin Diao Long （ The Literary Mind and the Carv- ing of Dragons, c. 501 -502）, Liu Xie （c. 465 -520） applies a phonological-etymological approach to the origins of terms for Chinese literary genres. The approach, aiming to ＂reveal the meaning via explanation of the term＂, is not only inheritance but also development and innovation of the phonology and etymology of the Han language. This paper addresses the phonological and semantic relations, as well as the advantages and disadvantages, of the approach.
