从社会分层理论的视角来看,能否有利于社会阶层的流动是决定人们对接受教育类型与程度选择的主要因素,因此,当毕业生的就业有利于社会分层与流动时,招生与就业之间呈正相关,反之则不相关。高职虽然“好就业”,但“好就业”的岗位缺乏“专属性”的职业地位和向上社会流动的机会及空间;已经毕业的高职学生难以通过高职教育从社会下层进入社会中上层的现实,影响了部分中下阶层家庭对高职教育的选择。解决高职院校“好就业、难招生”问题的路径是提高高职教育在促进社会分层中的正向功能。构筑从“终结教育”到终身教育的立交桥。

From the viewpoints of the social stratification theory, whether to be beneficial to social mobility or not is the major factor in the choice of types and extents of education. Therefore, enrollment and employment are positively correlated when the employment of graduates is beneficial to social stratification and mobility. The converse is not related. Although vocational graduates are easy to approach "better employment", "better employment" are lack of "exclusive" occupational status, opportunities and space for social update. It's difficult for vocational graduates to move upward from the lower social strata through vocational education, which affects choices for families from lower class whether to accept vocational education or not. The solution to the phenomena is to improve the positive functions of vocational education to boost the social stratification, and construct the overpass from "ending education" to "lifelong education".
