孙云鹤为清中叶著名女词人，其《听雨楼词》二卷从不同角度记录了她的生命感受与心路历程。从题材看，由于婚后不断随宦远行，乡愁旅思的集中抒写成为其词作内容的突出特点，并借此含蓄表现婚姻不幸的伤怨怀抱，而未仅仅局限于闺情之中。从艺术特色看，她的词作整体上虽以传统的婉美流丽为审美依归，同时亦常展现出不同于普通闺秀词的清隽疏朗的思致与境界。

Sun Yun-he was a famous ci poetess of the middle Qing Dynasty, and her ci-poetry collected in her Tingyu Mansion Ci-poetry recorded her life and emotional experiences from different perspectives.In terms of subject matter,her ci-poetry are mainly devoted to nostalgic melancholy and an implicit complaint of her marriage life rather than to girlish sentimentality as her after-marriage life was spent in con-stant move with her official husband. Stylistically, her ci-poetry is filled with a fresh,natural touch as well as a traditional beauty of implicitness and delicacy.
