Sustainability is the soul of the vitality of the new rural endowment insurance.The data of empirical investigation show that the pension of the new rural endowment insurance is low and that it is difficult to secure basic living;wide coverage policy pays more attention to＂quantity＂ than to ＂quality＂ and sustainability is hard to realize;the flexibility policy is not powerful enough to motive farmers and the sustainability of the new rural endowment insurance is worrying.The pilot project on the new rural endowment insurance should implement the scientific outlook on development,and give prominence to the people,and finally achieve real and sustainable ＂sense of security＂.
