Based on a NSSE-China questionnaire survey of the autonomous study of the first class of the "brilliant students" from the university in question and an analysis of the causes of the existing problems,the present paper advances some strategies for changing the current situation of these students’ learning.The strategies include guiding their autonomous study on the basis of the NSSE theory,deepening the teaching reform to inspire them to learn independently,and formulating a grand learning concept to cultivate autonomous learning habits.
