孔子是儒家的创始人，是历代文人尊崇的圣人，他的思想影响了中国2500多年。然而大家都认为孔子学说中的“樊迟请学稼”、“劳心者治人，劳力者治于人”、“唯女子与小人难养也”等，是孔子轻视体力劳动者、轻视农业生产劳动的体现。其实不然，相反，孔子思想中包含着丰富的农业教育思想。他的农业教育思想以管仲的“仓瘭实而知礼仪，衣食足则知荣辱”思想为基础，进而提出足食富民、使民以时、厚施薄敛、开禁利民、天人合一的农业教育思想。这些农业教育思想虽然亘古久远，但仍给我们以启示。
공자시유가적창시인，시역대문인존숭적골인，타적사상영향료중국2500다년。연이대가도인위공자학설중적“번지청학가”、“로심자치인，로력자치우인”、“유녀자여소인난양야”등，시공자경시체력노동자、경시농업생산노동적체현。기실불연，상반，공자사상중포함착봉부적농업교육사상。타적농업교육사상이관중적“창표실이지례의，의식족칙지영욕”사상위기출，진이제출족식부민、사민이시、후시박렴、개금이민、천인합일적농업교육사상。저사농업교육사상수연긍고구원，단잉급아문이계시。
As is known to all, Confucius is the founder of Confucianism, and is a saint respected by scholars of dif- ferent times. His thought influenced China for over two thousand and five hundred years. Confucius had some thoughts revealed in his sayings like ＂Fan Chi requested to be taught husbandry＂, ＂Those who do mental labor rule and those who do manual labor are ruled＂ and ＂Only the woman and the villain are difficult to raise＂ and so on~ which make people think Confucius despised manual workers and agriculture productive labor. In fact, what Confucius said contains rich education thought on agriculture. His agricultural education thought was based on Guan Zhong＇ s thought-＂Well fed, well bred＂. He suggested providing people sufficient food, giving them chance to do something at the right time, and put forward his thought about the convergence in harmony between man and nature. Even though Confucius agricultural edu- cation thought appeared long ago, its contemporary value still gives us enlightenment.
